It’s time to unite. Not fight.

Know You’re Getting the Best Possible Price for your Walnuts

Why would you rely on coffee shop talk to get information on walnut pricing?  The WBA collects only verifiable information on grower prices. That’s why the pricing information collected by the WBA is considered the most accurate data available.

WBA members can use the WBA’s accurate information on pricing to make decisions about what handlers to work with OR to negotiate a better price from your current handler.

When more walnut growers join the WBA, the more accurate our grower pricing data becomes and the more WBA can help you get the best price for your walnuts. We all benefit from the most accurate market intelligence we can get!

Membership in the Walnut Bargaining Association means you’ll be updated with information several times per year. It also means we will be asking you to share pricing information with us.  Please note that all information is confidential. We do not publish our updates and reports online, but you may request a copy to be mailed to you at any time.

Key members of the Walnut Bargaining Association who are walnut growers themselves collect information on grower prices from among California walnut farmers.

The preferred method for submitting information to the WBA is for growers to provide a copy of the pay stubs they receive from handlers. Your name, address and ranch information should be redacted as information collected from growers is protected to ensure anonymity.

Please keep in mind that the more accurate the payment data is that we receive from members – the more effective we can be at determining where grower pricing should be.  And, the more information we receive from growers – the better we will be at providing realistic price recommendations and comparisons.
